What Jobs for Teens is
Jobs for Teens publishes information about employers in British Columbia and the ages at which they hire. We research that information independently, from employers' own sources and by contacting employers directly.
Jobs for Teens is operated by its founder in Vancouver, British Columbia, as a sole proprietorship. The registered business name will be published here as soon as the BC business registration is complete.
What Jobs for Teens is not
Jobs for Teens is not an employer, recruiter, employment agency, or representative of the employers shown on this site.
We don't take applications, don't pass your information to employers, and don't have any say in hiring decisions. Applications happen on employers' own websites.
Employers shown on this site are not necessarily affiliated with Jobs for Teens and have not necessarily endorsed it.
Information changes
Hiring information changes, sometimes quickly. A minimum age can change, a location can close, a job can be filled, and an employer can change its policy without telling anyone.
We check our information and show you when we last checked it. We can't guarantee that:
- a job is still open
- an employer is currently hiring
- age information is still accurate
- you are eligible to apply
- an application will be accepted
- you will be interviewed or hired
Please confirm with the employer. Before you count on anything you read here, check it with the employer. They're the authority on their own hiring.
Links to other websites
Listings link to employers' websites and application systems. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, their availability, or how they handle your information.
Information about employment rules
Our “Know your rights” page explains British Columbia's employment rules for young people in general terms. It's general information, not legal advice, and it isn't a substitute for the official sources. For authoritative information, see the Government of British Columbia's Employment Standards pages.
Using the site properly
Please don't:
- attack, disrupt or overload the site
- try to access parts of the service you're not meant to reach
- use automated tools in a way that damages or overburdens the service
- copy the site's content wholesale to republish it as your own
Ordinary use is fine. So is normal search-engine indexing.

The design, text and structure of this site belong to us. Employer names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners, and we use them only to identify the employers we're describing.
No warranties
We provide this site “as is.” We work hard on accuracy, but we don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every piece of information is complete and current at the moment you read it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or from decisions you make based on information you find here — including a job you didn't get, a shift you weren't eligible for, or a trip to a store that wasn't hiring.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the effective date at the top, and we'll note significant changes on the page.
